All,
I have customized the DOORS 9.2 welcome screen Eg: Support link, Project doc's, Ask an expert related stuff to our own libraries.....
I would like to have this as a package and roll out to all my users.
Have any one done this before?

Hi,
i have not tested 9.2, but in 9.1, welcome screen is database propertie, so memorized in server.

I have tried to do the same. The link updates are automatically available for everyone, but I could not get the icons changes to other users. I believe the icon files would need to be uploaded to the server, but I don't know which server and which location.
Do you have more details about this ?

you must modify html files in welcome directory. In my server :
(c:\program files\Telelogic\DOORS9.1\lib\html\welcome)
(i don't remember where i have nor where i have found documentation)
You can modify panels directly from DOORS client :

login as Administrator
-
right clic on database
-
Properties
-
Tab "Welcome Screen"
-
clic on "Documentation" or "Support" icon
-
You can modifiy text, and see in which file it is.
